Live music performances of local veterans and young and unexposed traditional dance and music groups. The purpose is to show the public a window of SA music and cultural diversities using music, dance, colourful costumes, specialist entertainers, cultural exhibits etc. This will be exhibited through a multitude of performing talent across all racial lines and put a colourful face to the uniquely varied cultural character of South Africa from the Khoisan and Basotho to Zulu and Afrikaner Kaapse Danse and dance troupes performing gumboot, pantsula etc. Community music groups, singing and playing acoustic instruments such as the accordion, harmonica and Zulu guitar, at various other locations. A troupe of up to 100 school children – some dressed in the sponsor’s shirts – doing tin music dance.
