Melodi International Jazz Festival
A collaboration of African, South African and international musicians, working as ambassadors of African arts and culture.
Melodi takes musicians outside their usual format. Historical themes shape the programme, and several prominent local artists share the stage.
Each visiting headliner performs a pre-rehearsed set with South Africa’s Big Band. Visitors are not billed with their own backing bands.
